  • An architecture design session for the selected Windows Server feature based on a questionnaire review, a discussion on legacy workloads and the organization’s business challenges.
  • Recommended next steps.

 

10-Day Engagement consists of:
  • A workshop covering the value proposition of Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 components.
  • The Microsoft Assessment and Planning (MAP) Toolkit run against the customer’s production environment for two customer-selected Windows Server features.
  • An architecture design and technical drill down session for the selected Windows Server features based on a questionnaire review, a discussion on legacy workloads and the organization’s business challenges.
  • Deployment of a Proof-of-Concept environment to demonstrate the capabilities of the customer-selected Windows Server features.
  • Recommended next steps.

 
15-Day Engagement consists of:
  • A workshop covering the value proposition of Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 components.
  • The Microsoft Assessment and Planning (MAP) Toolkit will be run in the customer’s environment for one complex customer-selected Windows Server feature.
  • An architecture design and technical drill down session for the selected Windows Server features based on a questionnaire review, a discussion on legacy workloads and the organization’s business challenges.
  • A project plan and proposal for pilot implementation in a production environment including documentation and support during migration.
